Betting shop concentrations – no thanks!

I have just put in a response to the Department of Communities and Local Government consultation on planning , including the question of clusters of betting shops. Nobody minds people having the occasional flutter.  However, as shown by our experience locally with Paddy Power’s plans for the old Lloyds Bank building, residents are strongly opposed to the potential for disorder where a large number of betting shops sit close together.
