Local concerns about the Deregulation Bill

Department of Communities and Local Government officials were good enough to appear before representatives of the British Property Federation and agents for the Church Commissioners and Portman Estate yesterday to discuss the latest amendments. I expressed residents’ grave concern about the impact of the short-letting provisions, as I had with a cross-party group of Lords and, briefly, with the Housing Minister earlier in the week. WCC is continuing to try to get the message across about the amenity impact of short letting in central London.
