Six years on, Marylebone Boys’ School comes to Paddington

Six years after we four founders came up with a proposal for a free school round Laura Royde’s kitchen table, Marylebone Boys’ School has moved to its permanent site in Paddington Basin.

Education Minister Lord Agnew rang headmaster Richard Ardron’s treasured school bell at the official opening on October 4, 2018. Years 7 to 11 moved in during September, from the school’s previous site in Brondesbury Park. We were entertained by the choir and jazz group and enjoyed a tour of the school’s classrooms, sports facilities and music rehearsal rooms. Huge thanks to all staff, DfE officials, WCC, Willmott Dixon and most of all the parents and boys who shared our vision.
